Job Description
- Assist in the design and drafting of electrical systems (lighting, power, ELV, fire alarm, etc.) under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Prepare load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations using relevant software and spreadsheets.
- Develop and modify AutoCAD and/or Revit drawings for electrical layouts and schematic diagrams.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, structural) for integrated design solutions.
- Support in preparing technical specifications, BOQs, and design reports.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and responding to RFIs during project execution.
- Ensure designs comply with Egyptian codes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in electrical design for building services.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), and design software such as Dialux, ETAP, or similar.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a consultancy environment.
