Job Description
- Gather all the requirements from all disciplines to meet the deadline of the projects.
- Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
- Directs activities of draftsmen engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents and provides necessary support and/or advice.
- May use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
- Checking of documents including review for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
- Represents client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts and verifies that they follow current codes and standards.
- Assisting the firm principal in all aspects of the project from schematic design all the way to the production of construction documents.
- Preparing and reviewing quantity survey activities.
- Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project management, customer representatives, and regulatory authorities as applicable to the project.
- Developing architecture shop drawings at different project stages.
- Coordinating architecture shop drawings with civil and electromechanical components.
- Preparing and reviewing quantity survey activities.
- Projects managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors.
- Controlling a project from start to finish.
- Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.
- Attends the internal meetings in case of absence of the Team Leader.
Job Requirements
- Familiar with building code and zoning
- BA/BS degree in Architecture.
- Males Only
- Experience 5-10 years.
- Proficiency shop drawings
- Knowledge of: Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) applications and capable of producing drawings
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals
- Good organizational and negotiation skills
