About the Job
  • Manage accounting tasks  
  • Publicize financial statements in accordance with the planned time schedule 
  • Gather, track, analyze and present summarized accounting information 
  • Prepare balance sheets and write profit and loss statements 
  • Create and present detailed reports for upper management 
  • Audit financial transactions  
  • Make sure that confidential information is secure  
  • Keep abreast with financial laws, rules and regulations and internal policies 
  • Assist with completion of the quarterly and annual regulatory filings; preparation of assigned Quarterly and Annual Statutory Statement pages/schedules. 
  • Assist with annual external audit. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit. 
  • Assist with testing and receive final approval for system reports required for management, financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations. 
  • Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank such as cleared check differences, bank fee anomalies, targeted balance calculations and enhancements to online services. 
  • Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures. 
  • Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility. 
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelors of Accounting or more from an accredited university. 
  • 5 to 7 years progressively responsible experience in accounting. 
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English 
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills. 
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and CRM or similar programs. 
  • The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product. The individual will work closely with all major functional leaders of the Company.
