Job Description
- HVAC technical engineer can design systems for residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings, including schools, office buildings, and health care facilities.
- HVAC technical engineer may meet directly with clients, work with engineering colleagues like management, installers and repair technicians, design new systems or find solutions for existing system problems, and prepare estimates.
Job Requirements
- This candidate should be familiar with the ASHRAE, IPE codes
- Working knowledge of chiller piping, Load calculations, Duct sizing/layout, etc
- Working knowledge of Pipe sizing / routing, developing riser diagrams, Gas routing etc.
- AutoCAD
- HAP
- Elite Etc
- Degree in HVAC engineering or mechanical engineering or in an equivalent area of expertise
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong computer skills and know how to use computer-aided design software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential
- Must be able to communicate effectively to contractors and have strong interpersonal skills.
