Job Description
- Maintain and manage essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems to ensure a competitive advantage in the global marketplace.
- Perform server administration tasks, such as user/group management, security permissions, group policies, and print services. Research event-log warnings and errors and monitor resources to ensure seamless system architecture performance.
- Install and configure software and hardware, including but not limited to AWS Cloud, ESXI Hypervisor, Veeam Backup, and Kaspersky EDR Server (on-premises and cloud).
- Manage network servers and technology tools, ensuring data security and efficient performance.
- Set up accounts and workstations for employees, ensuring smooth onboarding processes.
- Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to established requirements, addressing any issues promptly.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups, to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and regular backups.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to develop expertise and train staff on new technologies.
- Create and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies to enhance knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Collaborate with teams to migrate Access databases to SQL Database based on business needs.
- Manage Google Admin for Mails to ensure efficient communication and collaboration.
- Manage NAS Storage Q-naps and perform daily checks to maintain data storage integrity.
- Restore backups through Veeam when necessary, ensuring data recovery as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required by the company.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a System Administrator, with at least 1 year of experience within the Real Estate Industry in an Oracle or SAP ERP environment, and managing systems for organizations with more than 500 employees.
- Proven expertise in server administration, network management, and system maintenance.
- Experience with AWS Cloud, ESXI Hypervisor, Veeam Backup, Kaspersky EDR Server, and NAS Storage (Q-naps) is required.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
