Job Description

JOB TITLE:  Technical Support Engineer 
REPORTS TO:  Support Technical Lead
STRUCTURE:   Full Time
LOCATION:  Remote, Egypt

  • Our company is searching for a Technical Support representative, who will be responsible for providing remote technical software support to clients. The Technical Support Representative will be working directly with our customers, including physicians, registered nurses, and IT representatives using Medstreaming's software. A successful candidate for this position will have proven experience in a customer service capacity, proven ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues on behalf of a customer's request, and an ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer communication via email, phone, and online meetings as part of technical support case handling
  • Managing customer tickets and escalations, root cause analysis, ensuring all support tickets are resolved
  • Logging, tracking, and collecting all related ticket information (logs, reports, SQL queries)
  • Executing application-related operational tasks
  • Provide remote technical support for medical software to clients
  • Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented and organized works well under tight deadlines.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in either Computer science, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred CCNA certification
  • Preferred MCSA certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of MS Web server (IIS)
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell or python
  • Experience with DICOM
  • Experience with HL7 preferred
  • Strong software application troubleshooting skills
