Job Description
As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining Shopify stores. You’ll work closely with our designers and project managers to bring e-commerce projects to life, optimize store performance, and ensure our online businesses are effective, visually appealing, and functional.
Responsibilities:
- Create and customize Shopify themes from scratch or make advanced modifications to existing themes.
- Integrate and configure Shopify Apps to enhance store functionality.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid to implement custom features and improve UI/UX.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, digital marketers, and project managers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform and connected integrations.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
- Proficiency in Shopify's templating language (Liquid), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify's API and third-party apps and integrations.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including conversion rate optimization and SEO.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with custom Shopify app development is a plus.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
- Previous experience in an e-commerce agency or similar environment.
