Job Description
- Maintaining proper planning, implementation, and operations for the technologies and services
- Managing the interactions between Internal Teams, Vendors, and Customer teams to assure service delivery/availability and fast TTM / problem solving with the best quality and a satisfactory service level.
- Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in time.
- Overseeing and determining major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Fostering new ideas, technologies, and ways of improvement for Infrastructure and Development Systems and Sub Systems.
- To plan, develop, implement and operate Cloud and Automation solutions
- Managing all infrastructure systems Cloud, DevOps, Databases, Systems, Storage, Backup, Security, and Networking.
- Lead the ongoing activities of the cloud and automation projects
- Full Responsible and Accountable on all live production Technologies and Services offered.
- Responsible for maintaining proactively and reactively all Technologies and Services offered.
- Responsible for the continuous enhancements in the operational tasks to meet the organization's objectives.
- Responsible for the third level of support for Cloud and Automation Technologies and Services offered.
- Follow up reviewing and publishing the services documentation to assure business continuity and fast tracks for problem resolution.
- Apply patch fixes for all bugs on all live systems whenever needed.
- Responsible for issuing RFPs / RFQs for Cloud and Automation services provided.
- Work in full cooperation with the IT Service Support team in any escalated issues Ends to End until complete resolution.
- Check and ensure the resolution of all issues to achieve all operations objectives without breaching the SLA.
- Follow Change Management Processes in handling all changes concerning production systems.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Telecommunications & Electronics Engineering, Computer science or equivalent.
- Strong experience in:
- Minimum 5 Yrs. experience in Windows/Linux/Unix Systems administration.
- Preferred 2 Yrs. experience in Storage and Data Recovery systems
- Hands-on Experience Cloud Solutions VMware vRealize Suite and vCloud Director
- Hands-on Experience Virtualization VMware/Hyper-V/KVM
- Hands-on Experience Configuration Management / Orchestration tools
- Hands-on Experience Scripting and Automation
- Hands-on Experience x86/RISC servers
- Hands-on Experience Networking
- Hands-on Experience Database systems
- Hands-on Experience Security Solutions
- Highly motivated and competent with decision-making ability
- Very Good Analytical, Problem Solving, and Integration skills
- Very Good ability to conduct a gap analysis on current systems and develop plans to cover these gaps
- Plan for activities and carry out assignments with no supervision
- Very good communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral)

- Very Good Computer skills, Advanced MS excel is a plus.
