Lab Shift Leader
Location: Obour Plant.
As a Lab Shift Leader, you are responsible for managing all labs ‘activities related to quality control, food safety and material quality during shifts through lab analysts & supervisors’ coordination and supervision.
About the job
- Supervises and coordinates lab analysts and supervisors in all applied analysis for chemical, microbiology and milk reception according to DANONE methods to processing standards and assists Analysts in performing laboratory tests.
- Coordinates all tests related product quality and conformity criteria.
- Support R&I and production in new products launch and process modifications.
- Inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment, and support in identifying causes of products non-conformities.
- Implementing Plant Lab KPI’s.
- Support all food safety activities (auditing, GHP/GMP, pest control management).
- Support in QC activities (records, process parameters and inspections) on floor.
- Support in raw material inspection as well as raw material sampling and internal analysis.
- Supervises and manages the milk supply analysts.
- Secure LMS (Lab Management Stock) to avoid out of stock items.
- Implement Good Lab Practice and respect of standard labs conditions.
- Define & update of sampling frequency for control plan.
- Conduct the sampling for control plan.

Job Requirements
About you
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or any related degree.
- Targeted profile Required between 3 to 6 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably Dairy experience.
