Job Description
Jira Administrator:-
- Configure and administer Jira Software, Jira Core and Jira Service Desk, and other related products and integrate them into the other systems.
- Manage global settings including users and groups, roles, global permissions, and schemes.
- Level one support (add user, delete user, and grant access….), Create projects, set up permissions and assign Jira project administrators.
- Handle day-to-day Jira operation tasks through gathering information, searching, contacting people, coordinate between requester and level 2.
- Prepare documentation.
Help desk:-
- Analyze the needs of Jira users, and define the needs for any modification or change if needed.
- Set up and control security procedures (access rights, passwords, etc.).
- Help users on an anomaly related to Jira.
- Prevent Jira malfunctions and failures.
- System support, level one debugging, check backups, coordinate with Vendors infrastructure teams.
Job Requirements
SKILLS:-
- Knowledge of Atlassian products.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL Server).
- Proficiency in operating systems (Microsoft windows servers), Implement, install, configure and troubleshooting Microsoft windows server.
- Knowledge of networks (communication protocols, cabling, router, etc.).
- Virtualization Technology (VMWare, Hyper-V), Creating and fully configuring windows virtual machines using VMWare and Hyper-V.
