Import Supervisor

What are the principal and permanent missions of the job?

• Managing and supervising all the Import shipments in coordination with the agents, suppliers and UTGL customers.
• Lead Import team to increase the Import Operations Volume.
• Lead import team to meet & exceed customer satisfaction
• Monitor import team operations & work flow
• Preparing quotations
• Submit tenders
• Make sure that CSRs are following up the operations procedures
• Develop strong relationship with service providers & customers
• Develop & enhance customer relationship to increase the business volume
• Ensure that all the open operations are going on the right track
• Support CSR in solving any technical problem
• Provide pre alert with observance to the SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) if any
• Managing VIP customers shipments; Preparing and sending quotations to VIP customers,
• Booking the shipment details with the required documents, Coordination and following up with the trucking and customs if required, Arranging and collecting the shipment details, Following up the shipments receipts.
• Contacting service provider and negotiate for best prices (shipping lines)
