Job Description

Part one

  • Create and Execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmark, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of a company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Develop and manage strategic outreach plan and publishing schedule
  • Work in Mail chimp to create compelling email campaigns
  • Monitor and disseminate inbound emails from campaigns and website
  • Create and present regular lead generation analytics reports, and provide insight for improvement
  • Support Marketing and Communications Manager in development, writing
  • Managing schedules, recurring tasks and reports on behalf of the department
  • Provide support for corporate events and functions

Part two

  • An Assistant PR & Marketing Manager plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives in line with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives and relevant activities.
  • The marketing and PR team performs an integral role in bringing together all function areas to ensure commercial targets are heightened. The executive role involves managing individual projects relating to marketing, media relations and internal communications and performing day-to-day administrative duties.
  • What will I be doing?As Marketing Public Relations Executive, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the company to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets and address company business needs. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards

Business Function

  • Support and assist PR & marketing manager in all marketing for the company and activities.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Co-coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Support and assist marketing manager to control the company's marketing budget.
  • Implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Support and assist PR & marketing manager in all responsibilities required for brand management and corporate identity.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Support and assist PR & marketing manager in analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
  • Support and assist PR & marketing manager in all PR events
  • Support and assist PR & marketing manager handling advertising & Editorial
  • Maintain and update media mailing list and database

Job Requirements

What do I need to qualify for the job?

  • Ability to travel regarding business needs
  • At least one year of experience producing content for print, digital and other channels in both Arabic and English
  • Deep understanding and strong relations across the media landscape (TV, print, digital and radio)
  • Experience creating compelling messages for different demographics

Skills Required

  • Combination of digital content, journalism and publishing skills
  • Ability to craft compelling content in Arabic and English; outstanding command of both languages is required
  • Equally comfortable with long-form narrative and real-time content creation; knowledge of distribution strategies and tactics
  • Project management skills to juggle editorial schedules and deadlines while sticking to a budget
  • Desire to master the latest platforms, experiment with new storytelling and content-creation tools, and apply social media techniques to boost engagement and buzz
  • Proven working experience in the social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge for - b2b
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick to absorb and analyze large amounts of information
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
