About the Job

Assignment background:

Using digital and electronic marketing is a crucial way to grow any business, including agribusinesses. This consultancy position will work with the Gender Integration Lead, Marketing Lead, and other component staff to develop training curriculum and carry out two workshops with project beneficiaries on digital media and electronic marketing, including how to manage a website and database. These trainings will be targeted at female farmers, entrepreneurs, and agribusiness owners, therefore the content of the trainings should include a focus on women’s leadership and economic empowerment. The consultant will develop all training materials, conduct necessary preparation, hold a minimum of two (2) training workshops with a total of eighty (80) trainees, and provide a final report with recommendations and pre- and post- test results.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop participatory training materials for the topic of digital and electronic marketing, including - website marketing interactive tools, SEO, search engines, market places, Mobile application and database management. - How to plan for a social media campaign - How to manage social media accounts (Facebook, google +, tweeter…)
  • Content of trainings to be validated by Gender Integration Lead, Marketing Lead, and other relevant staff
  • Update training materials as needed
  • Provide final report with recommendations for follow up on trainings to the program staff and pre- and post- test results
  • Keep ERAS Gender Integration Lead updated with the status training programs

Job Requirements
  • Experience with digital and electronic marketing for agribusiness
  • Experience with women’s economic empowerment and leadership
  • Extensive training experience – experience producing training materials and implementing trainings
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Upper Egypt and Delta regions
  • Hold a minimum of 2 training workshops reaching a total of 80 trainees
