Job Description
Mission
Be the daily Valeo contact of wholesalers and garages for technical-commercial training, to resolve product issues and the
delivery and service of Valeo tooling in order to enhance the Valeo image of service organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop an annual activity plan indicating the focus per month (airco tooling delivery, service to tooling, training (preparation)
- Design and implement training material and programs to be conducted online and offline for a wide spectrum of automotive spare part products.
- Conduct and lead offline and online training workshops and seminars for technical mechanics.
- Build a strong relationship with Valeo sales reps and distributors in order to know what is happening at wholesalers and garage level and offer support if needed
- Develop in co-operation with the Trade Marketer and the branch professional training support material for distributors, garages and sales organization
- Spread the knowledge about Valeo quality products by giving professional training sessions to Valeo sales reps, distributors, wholesalers and garages
- Efficiently plan service visits in order to maintain and repair airco equipment conform service contract obligations with customers
- A professional administration of service contracts and follow up like invoicing and spare parts management
- Offer a professional, quick and cost efficient solution for technical problems with Valeo products and equipment
- Develop and maintain a network of people responsible for training and technical problem solving in other divisions and at the branch.
- Manage the language of the trainings and adapt them to the local language
- Communication with hotline, be in ad equation with customers feedback.
- Write technical newsletter to the garages/distributors network
- Work according to the 5 axes
Job Requirements
Education/Training:
- Graduate engineer
- Technical engineer or equivalent
- Product knowledge of vehicle parts in general
Professional Experience
- 5 -9 years experience in a technical problem solving environment with direct relation with customers
- Previous experience within an OEM/Local Service Centre within Training Centre department or Talent Development Team is required.
- Hands-on practical experience in general vehicle maintenance, fixing, mounting and troubleshooting is big plus.
- Passionate, hobbyist for vehicle architecture and general customization is a plus.
- Experience in mentoring, coach, teach and train mechanics through practical hand-on workshops and seminars is needed.
Languages
Local language, English speaking proficiency is a must
