Job Description
- Responsible for mainly the whole import cycle.
- Responsible for coordinating and following up with suppliers.
- Choose best shipping method in accordance to the projects delivery date.
- Keep proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s logistics operations.
- Track shipments across different channels.
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance to the Egyptian customs regulations & requirements.
- Following up Freight shipment documents and Clearance and inform the mean departments with the information needed.
- Request & coordinate the transportation of all shipments and monitor till receiving in our warehouses.
- Prepare all necessary documentation for handling logistics work in accordance with internal Logistics department rules.
- Responsible for following up of customs clearance of all shipments.
Job Requirements
- Experience in logistics modeling & simulation
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced changing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time
- Bachelors in Logistics or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Demonstrated logistics leadership of multiple facilities in a similar industry.
- Proven ability to work on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.
- Excellent project management, communication and analytical
- skills.Sound knowledge of shipping processes and metrics.
- Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills.
- Outstanding organizational and investigative abilities.
- Capacity to perform your duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
