Job Description
Specific tasks for this position will include but are not limited to:
- To build relationships with existing clients and to understand their business needs.
- To handle operational activities related to outgoing and incoming travel activities.
- To manage the inquiry source with Egyliere Travel team and communicate with Marketing.
- To contract and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best services at least possible costs, producing the most innovative, creative, and attractive and price‐worthy proposals for all client requests.
- To manage proposals, costs breakdown and all profit and cost margins conforming with company's policies.
- To continually research, develop and improve products and services offered aiming at being the most creative provider of services in the market.
- To coordinate with department staff to ensure that responses to queries are timely, professional and comprehensive.
- To create, maintain and administer client database on a program and liaise it with the Marketing Executive.
- To follow up on new customer leads and coordinate with the Aviation Department on the matter.
- To gain a full and thorough understanding of the different software solutions provided to Egyliere and to ensure that sales, pricing and contracting functions are all conducted with this understanding in mind.
- To negotiate with the different solution providers on Egyliere booking engine creation.
- To manage Egyliere Associates in order to deliver an impeccable service to Egyliere customers as per the company’s standards and requirements.
- To actively ask team members for ideas and suggestions and to create forums where people feel comfortable to speak up.
- To continuously seek ways in which the work can be improved and to react in a timely manner.
- To develop suggested remedies to attack areas of weakness.
- To arrange weekly update meetings with the team.
- To encourage the team to build relationships with key partners and to improve departmental efficiency.
- To be able to set SMART goals and objectives effectively.
- To recognize successful completion of goals, objectives and projects and when appropriate celebrates successes.
- To handle stress and pressure in an effective manner, consistently maintaining high level of motivation and standard of work.
- To overcome obstacles caused by conflicting priorities, lack of resources, difficult or demanding situations in the internal or external environment.
