Job Description
- Provide personalized support to each student.
- Coach and monitor student’s ability to meet the required Independence Level work habits.
- Collect and reflect on student data; adjust and advise instruction accordingly.
- Communicate consistently and frequently with the School Leader, students, and their parents about students’ goals and progress; take in feedback and address any questions or concerns directly, positively, and in a timely manner.
- Develop positive mindsets around goal-setting, academic work and collaborative projects.
- Set clear expectations and monitor student behavior, as well as respond appropriately and consistently to misbehavior.
- Model and foster a culture of respect and learning.
- Lead and design experiential, project-based learning activities for the class by using global resources to create an experience that’s relevant and real world.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communication.
- Document learning moments and share with other team members as well as parents.
- Cooperate with administration staff.
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information.
Job Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of teaching experience for year 5
- Have a multicultural experience and background
- Have an excellent command of English
- Be acquainted with blended learning pedagogues and learning environments
- A fast learner who is self-motivated to acquire knowledge and skills in every opportunity
