eDental Portal, www.edentalportal.com is a revolutionary exam preparatory platform offering a personalised intelligent revision resource for dentists. We are helping dentists pass exams, driven by the idea of improving oral care for people in the Middle-east.
Are you a trained dentist passionate about education? Are you looking to use your oral health knowledge and expertise to help train the next generation of healthcare providers? eDental is looking for dentists who are interested in a nonclinical position to work onsite with our team of clinical/practicing dentists, subject matter experts and editors on high-quality clinical and/or basic science content for our question banks. This is a great opportunity to impact dental education using innovative tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop content for eDental portal question banks, including writing questions and comprehensive explanations that follow eDental style
- Focus on accuracy, precision, readability and educational value , with openness to receiving feedback and making necessary changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts, editors and IT/customer support professionals
- Complete other tasks as requested
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry, Master's/ in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2 years’ creator/editorial experience, including 1 year in the dental/medical communications industry
- Graduate of an accredited dental school
- High performance on University/other relevant exams
- High performance on Specialty/certification examinations (if applicable)
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
Person Specification
- Strong knowledge in dentistry (subject matter expertise)
- Ability to conceptualize, integrate, and teach complex topics through portal
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail
- Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively
- Proven history of working independently while operating within a team environment
- Organized
