Job Description
At MoneyFellows, we believe that Back-end Lead is one key player shaping how the team forms behind the scenes functionality and features delivered through many integrations, API development and microservices all in harmony while cooperating with tech/none-tech teams utilizing his experience for robust and high-quality outputs based on needs and requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Mentor and develop robust and scalable APIs.
- Integrate and consume internal / external services and APIs.
- Deploy and maintain Infrastructure and cloud service.
- Investigate and research new frameworks, services and tools.
- Engage with tech/none-tech team members to analyze features delivery.
- Develop, manage and optimize database.
- Profile, tune, scale and optimize execution of existing queries and functions.
- Mentor and Develop career plans and objectives for team members.
- Mentor and Develop code quality checks and legacy code revamp.
- Track and report members progress.
Job Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in Back-end development. (including 3+ recent NodeJS experience).
- Problem solving is a habit and daily routine.
- Fast and Flexible transition between tools and technology stacks.
- Great Sense of ownership and commitment.
- Outstanding communication, presentation skills.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of scaffolding and ORM tools and application layers.
- Solid understanding of Microservices development and maintenance.
- Solid Understanding of Front-end frameworks and tools.
- Outstanding experience with security measures for build secure APIs.
- Outstanding experience with Continuous Deployment/Integration.
- Outstanding experience with build tools (Ex: gulp, grunt).
- Great experience with cloud services (Ex: AWS, Azure, Firebase/Google Cloud).
- Great experience with code versioning tools (Ex: git, GitHub).
Bonus:
- Experience with (Ex: Angular 2+, Ionic 2+)
- Experience with Analytics solutions (Ex: Segment, Firebase/Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Intercom, Heap)
