About the Job
  • Directly engage with customers and partners to validate migration new and existing Solutions for migration solutions; accelerate the customers project, provide knowledge and insight to build the customers confidence
  • Drive product improvement by capturing product related feedback that can be triaged by the relevant Product teams.
  • Be a thought leader and share knowledge with others through management best practices, solution documents, engage technical communities, and create training
Job Requirements

Required Skills

  • Practical hands on experience in Migrating Microsoft SQL Server databases from on-prem to Azure VMs, Azure SQL Database & Managed Instance, Azure SQL DW, Hyperscale.
  • Practical experience of using Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines for production purposes
  • Practical experience with migration technologies such as DMS, & Azure Migrate.
  • A good understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as Governance, Scaffold, Design Principles, Security & Monitoring, Cost Management.

Highly Desirable Skills

  • Practical experience with OpenSource Data technologies, such as MySQL, PostGresQL, MariaDB.
  • Practical experience with Oracle and knowledge of hosting within Azure.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and the ability to work with customers in that OS during migration projects
  • Practical Experience deploying and supporting CosmosDB
  • Knowledge and experience using Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
  • Practical Experience of Azure analytical products including Data Factory, Databricks, SQL DW, Stream Analytics.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • 3+ of experience working with enterprise customers on Azure specific data solutions, application development and deployment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future of Microsoft support.
  • Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations; to lead projects and to motivate others.
  • Consulting and/or Delivery experience
