Financial Operations Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt for a FinOps Accountant. The FinOps Accountant will be responsible for performing daily financial operations tasks including bank transfers, processing vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements, accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in monthly financial closing.

Duties Tasks, and responsibilities:

• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts and invoices for sold goods or services rendered.
• Researching and resolving customer account discrepancies.
• Researching and resolving truck suppliers’ payment discrepancies.
• Processing and recording transactions.
• Maintaining records regarding payments and all account statuses.
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
• Working with the relevant departments to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
• Performing accounting tasks, such as accurate data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork related to all customers’ accounts and received collections.
• Generating reports and statements for internal use.
• Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.

Work conditions:

• 1 Fixed Day off per week - Friday.
• 48 hours per week
• Rotational shifts
