Contracts Specialist

The contract department plays a critical role in the running of our business and he/she should be able to achieve company goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.

This means he/she will be required to analyze deals, scan competitions prices and based on research and experience be able to close out, renew or negotiate (new) contracts. He/she will have to be able to resolve any contract-related issues, internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Draw up, analyze, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
• Communicate directly with suppliers and maintain professional communication and relations with each supplier (hotelier)
• Research and Analyze competition
• Negotiate competitive and exclusive rate agreements
• Keep record of all contract-related documents/drafts
• Brainstorm and come up with efficient contract-related problem solving, internally and externally
• Monitor and follow up contract close-outs, extensions and renewals
• Build a strong contracting team
