Job Description
- Proactively manage daily freight forwarding activities of the company to include all sea, air, road operations import / export process
- Proactively manage freight forwarding suppliers to ensure their resources are properly allocated to meet FISI business requirements
- Quoting and coordinating international shipments
- Ensures that all process are properly documented, followed and improved as necessary
- Maintain grow and build long term relationships with account portofolio via phone calls, emails and job quality follow up
- Responsible for the accuracy of invoices, bills of lading, shipping statements, and the achievement of KPIs
- Consistently upholds all FISI policies, practices and procedures
- Develops people to their highest potential through necessary training and performance management
- Responsible for ensuring cross training for all positions is complete and documented
- Establish and sustain that all supervisors and associates are trained and competent and understand how their work relates to customer’s business objectives
- Maintaining customers focus on all times and answering to customers’ enquiries using the standards guidelines
- Taking ownership of complaint and queries and proactively following through to resolution
- Perform various customer service activities, including upselling
- Handling client problems, answer general inquiries and complaints
Job Requirements
- 7 years of experience in freight forwarder or shipping line.
- Strong experience and knowledge on all modes of delivery such as trucking, airline, shipping
- Managerial & Leadership Skills
- Customer Service Skills
- Problem solving & Negotiation skills
- Excellent MSO skills
- Excellent English skills (writing and speaking)
- Have the ability to handle issues with any partner (shipping line, cargo owners, brokers and involved authority).
