Job Description
As a Sales Specialist (Heavy Industries) you will be a part of the Robotics and Motion division and Business Unit Drives based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for sales of products/systems drives & soft starters within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.
Tasks:
Your main responsibilities in this role will include:
- Achieving the yearly individual target and maintaining existing relationship with ABB Customers.
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance, appropriate offers and solutions.
- Expanding network for better geographical coverage and demand creation to ABB Customers.
- Creating an effective plan to figure out opportunities within Cement/Metals/P&P/OGC Industries.
- Monitoring and controlling the availability and prices for ABB in the market.
- Monitoring the competitors moves and market activity to react positively towards the market.
- Acting aggressively to increase ABB market share by adding new install base and solutions to our sales basket.
- Weekly customer visit plan and reporting the activities through ABB Tools.
- Monthly evaluating and conducting business review meetings with our sales managers.
- Enhancing the sales and creating an effective plan to figure out any opportunities for geographical expansion.
Job Requirements
As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering with 1-3 years of experience in sales. Previous Experience with Drives & Soft Starters will be a plus.
Proficiency in spoken & written English is required, French Language will be a plus.
