Job Description
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues.
- Review and approve project documentation, including quality plans and test reports.
- Ensure that all construction materials and work meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Train and mentor QA/QC staff and contractors.
- Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues and non-conformances.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and standards.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, PMP) are a plus.
