Job Description

  • Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization by preparing, completing internal cost audits, collecting the needed data from relevant departments, analyzing, and recommending costs and cost savings to assign standard costs for all products to ensure maximum profitability
  • Make pricing of the proposed product by researching the market rate for key business costs, calculating the cost of direct materials and the conversion cost for production to ensure correct products/services are at the expected cost and pricing
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions to cost-cutting measures by collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs to optimize budget plan and save costs
  • Monitor company’s costs by following up daily production orders in terms of consumption of raw materials and the output to control standard ratio of spoilage. And by reviewing the purchase orders, purchase prices, suppliers offer, costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc, analyzing of expenses for all cost centers, revieing estimated budget of it to keep cost efficient 
  • Prepare regular reports by analyzing manufacturing costs and comparing standard costs to actual production costs to identify factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education

 

Bachelor's degree in Commerce – Accounting major
Work Experience

1-2 years of experience

 

Skills and Knowledge

 

Advanced skills in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel

SAP User

Solid understand of accounting principles and a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers. 

Solid commitment to results and quality and analytical thinking skills

Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
