Job Description

Welcome to an opportunity that goes beyond the ordinary. At KODE Sports Club, we believe in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our members. We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Welfare Champion a role that embodies our commitment to members happiness and safety.

 

Job purpose:

You will be the ambassador for safeguarding members Happiness within the club premises and collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and inclusive environment is achieved through coaching and motivation.

 

 

What do we expect from you?

 

 

1- Key duties

  • Keep an eye on members (kids and adults) across the club members to ensure their safety and security
  • Respond to any members requests and/or direct them accordingly
  • Be highly vigilant at all times especially in risk areas such kids garden, pools, water features…etc to ensure kids and members safety and ensure they behave in safe manner to avoid any accidents
  • Ensure members and kids are behaving in compliance with KODE safety standards, policies, rules and regulations
  • Ensure the wellbeing and happiness of members at all times through regular communication and support
  • Encouraging good behavior and spread the company’s value across all club members through acting as role models at all times
  • Promote for the Club’s Code of Conduct by constantly monitoring and guiding the members
  • Act as the on ground point of contact for children and adults with regards to attending to their inquiries, safety and complaints as applicable and/or direct them accordingly
  • Escalating the complaints to their Team Leader accordingly
  • Immediately report on unsafe conditions or hazards to the Safety Department
  • Strictly apply what has been learnt during the induction/refreshment training programs related to:
  • Security
  • Safety
  • First Aid
  • Customer Experience
  • Crisis management
  • Always ask and consult the Team Leader with regards to any uncommon situation that he/she was not exposed to previously to ensure taking the right action
  • Learn the club rules and regulations by heart and coached on how to act / escalate in case of violation

 

 

2- Health and Safety:

  • Act as ambassadors for the adherence to the HSE policies, procedures and instructions
  • Collaborate with the QHSE and Security Department to ensure safe and secure environment to the members
  • Collaborate with the HSE team with conducting awareness sessions or activities

Job Requirements

What do you need to perform your role?

 

To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements:

 

  • Education and experience:
  • Bachelor in any relevant discipline
  • 1-2 years experience in hospitality industry as guest relations and or in Health and safety

 

  • Skills and knowledge:
  • Very good speaking, Reading, and Writing English Language
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills with all types, levels and ages of people
  • Tactful and discreet
  • Able to resolve conflict
  • Engaging and supportive
  • Approachable and trustworthy
  • Good listener and friendly
  • Caring and understanding
  • Professional and helpful
