Job Description

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of all facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
  • Ensure that operational systems function optimally and meet regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and emergency response plans.
  • Manage the company’s fleet, ensuring vehicles are maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations.
  • Oversee logistics and scheduling for transportation needs, optimizing routes for cost and efficiency.
  • Ensure driver compliance with safety and operational policies.
  • Develop and manage security protocols to safeguard plants and facilities.
  • Ensure the facility’s infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, water supply, and building structures, is properly maintained and functioning.
  • Oversee the inspection, repair, and upgrade of physical infrastructure to meet operational needs and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for major infrastructure projects, including construction, renovations, and system upgrades.
  • Monitor energy consumption and recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Monitor and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure the protection of assets.
  • Ensure the installation, maintenance, and functionality of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Oversee administrative services, including office maintenance, supplies, and support.
  • Ensure effective coordination between the facilities team and other departments.
  • Manage office space planning and ensure a comfortable work environment for all employees.
  • Supervise and mentor facility, fleet, security, and administrative staff.
  • Allocate tasks and set performance goals for the team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training on safety, operations, and compliance procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Oversee procurement processes for facility services, including negotiating contracts and managing budgets.
  • Develop and manage the facility’s operating budget, including transportation, security, and maintenance costs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the quality and safety of operations.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire, natural disasters, and other potential hazards.
  • Coordinate regular drills and ensure the facility is equipped with necessary emergency systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering.
  • +10 years of experience in facilities management, fleet/transportation, security, and administration.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or corporate facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with fleet management, security systems, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Budget management and cost-control expertise.
  • Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to facility operations.
