Job Description
- Ability to communicate, understand and effectively work with our Clients to articulate their requirements and challenges
- Provides remote and on-site support to our customers inside/outside Egypt.
- Manages and monitors large computer networks for problems from a central location through communicating with site technicians and tracking problems until resolution.
- Participating in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, communication links, and routing protocols
- Planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), and network security (firewalls, IDS, NAC)
- Maintains LAN, WAN and architecture of the server as per the business policy.
- Generates and maintains the virtual private network, Firewall, web protocols
- Maintains routers and switches and generate status reports of hardware and software products as per the designated policies
- Prepares and submits weekly and monthly progress reports to the Networks team leader to clarify the current status and progress of assigned tasks
- Escalates customer satisfaction problems and complex issued to Network Team Leader, Technical Project Services, if necessary.
- Prepare, compile and review the projects’ technical documentation with the details of the installation work and submits to team leader.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as Network Security Engineer
- Experience on IP routing including TCP/IP and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Experience in network management and network monitoring tools
- Experience on architecture design of LAN/WAN and VoIP networks will be considered as a plus
- Familiarity with SDN technologies and principles (e.g. SD-WAN, SDDC)
- Ability to communicate, understand and effectively work with our Clients to articulate their requirements and challenges
- Certification in industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent Knowledge) will be considered as a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects against specific timelines
