Job Description
- Be sure that the employees in the hospital working on the infection control rules to Infection Control Head is responsible for the development, implementation, and overall direction of the Infection Control program across the hospital’s system.
- He/ She is responsible for evaluating, and maintaining qualified competent staff to serve the patient
- Needs as well as utilizing the resources within the Infection Control Department appropriately, along with providing Consultation on an ongoing basis to administration, management, personnel, and medical staff to ensure patients & staff safety.
- Along with preventing and decreasing the number of an infected patient, know how to protect themselves against occupational hazards related to infection control
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor medical background (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry)
- Postgraduate studies in the infection control field (epidemiology/microbiology/public health) diploma and/or master's degree.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- MBA at hospital management
