Job Description

  • A Pre-Sell Representatives main duty objective is to maximize company sales by working against the key retail priorities.
  • Retail priorities might include: maximization of merchandising opportunities, new item launch, and getting a market share.

Main Tasks:

  • Maintain appropriate uniform and personal appearance standards within company guidelines and requirements.
  • Know decision-makers and customers' key personnel by name.
  • Know time restrictions - delivery and/or order.
  • Monitor competition, compare market shares vs. shelf space, and
  • conduct monthly price surveys.
  • Rotate products within and between accounts to maintain product freshness and quality.
  • Document and maintain proper inventory levels by account in handheld computer system.
  • Develop all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service
  • Take inventory and place orders for future PBG Delivery
  • Solicit new business to increase volume and new package distribution within the area boundaries
  • Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment and sell sufficient product inventory
  • Utilize point-of-purchase materials to stimulate sales
  • Generate selling opportunities by maintaining and increasing shelf facings, cleaning shelving and rotating product
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
  • Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales
  • Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility

Job Requirements

  • Should have Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
  • FMCG experience is a must
