Job Description
- Supervise HR department staff and assists staff in resolving non-routine issues in their respective areas and investigates problems and employee complaints.
- Manages employee benefit plans including health/welfare plans, flexible spending plans and tax deferred annuities for the district.
- Oversees eligibility procedures, notice requirements, and annual open enrollment process.
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Human Resources Management principles, practices and procedures
- Must have good PC skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience entering, tracking and analyzing data.
- Experience with ISO, Six Sigma, 5 S.
- Effective communication skills (Written and Verbal), and Microsoft Office .
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and tasks.
- Possesses excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Able to operate light industrial equipment a plus.
