Job Description
- Collect and relay any market information about company / shipping line competitors.
- Keep track of competition activities.
- Hunt, develop and retain customers by offering customized and strategic solutions of their needs.
- Determine, and approach new customers obtained from other sources (manifests' analysis / Internet / exporters list…etc).
- Maintain customers’ database and keep records with any updates and/or new customers’ data.
- Present the company’s services to new customers
- Prepare weekly plan for customers visits to achieve the monthly targets.
- Report the visits outcome status to direct manager through submitting the actual visits report on a weekly basis.
- Prepare all the periodical reports that summarize the weekly sales activities and performance achieved.
- Have continued engagement with customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts.
- Understand each assigned customer’s business model and competitive advantages.
- Provide the customers with needed information this includes rate quotations, service presentation, and/or any other needed inquiry to ensure valuable client visit.
- Solving any problems facing our customers.
- Following up on day to day shipments with operation colleagues and keep the customers fully informed and posted.
- Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Very good communication skills written and spoken
- Sales and negotiations skills.
- Very good command of English language.
- Customer focus
- 3+ previous experience in the same field
