About the Job

We are now looking for a Tax Specialist in Egypt to ensure tax legislation, mitigate tax risks and ensure high quality in tax accounting and reporting. In addition to involve in some regional projects in Middle East related to taxes and reporting


  • Manage all Direct Tax including and not limited to income tax, payroll tax, withholding tax, stamp duty tax, international tax systems.
  • Manage Indirect Tax including not limited to (VAT), Social Insurance
  • Manage reporting, tax audit and compliance for all type of taxes
  • Represent the company in front of all governmental authorities as required
  • Routine Tax Advice for all internal stakeholders and provide proper tax structure and advices
Job Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor in Accounting, Finance and/or Tax Law or equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years’ Experience preferably in multinational companies in local and international tax legislation is plus
  • Knowledge in GAAP (i.e. local GAAP, IFRS and group directives) preferred
  • SAP experience is required
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial systems
  • Accounting and reporting skills
  • Financial Analysis skills
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Adapting and responding to change
  • Relating and networking
  • Good communications skills preferred
  • Arabic language skills would be an advantage

Additional Requirements

  • This position will be based in Cairo and may also require management of routine tax compliance tasks in other Middle East countries.
