Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The GPS change agent role exists to support the deployment and embed the GPS into the Site to deliver the Business Strategy and improve Business Performance (Innovation, Performance, & Trust)
- As a member of the site GPS team directly reporting to the site GPS Lead:-
- GPS being used to develop the capability of all the Site personnel to implement day to day continuous improvement activities
- To ensure the day to day continuous improvement activities result in the Site Performance towards the goal of Zero Accidents, Zero Defects, Zero Waste and deliver site commitments
- Support in the ‘self-assessment’ of the site versus the GPS Maturity matrices and to close any gaps
- To coach/train the site teams in GPS and application
- Identifying the good practices and rolling out through the site
- Work with SLT, ELT, & FLLs to embed GPS in the day to day challenges and proactive improvements to serve the site priorities
Main responsibilities:
- Work with SLT, ELT, FLLs to develop their capabilities to be able to lead, manage, coach and develop their employees
- Lead day to day deployment of the GPS as well as all related improvement activities at site level (business impact on safety, quality, cost, people and innovation)
- Track progress of the site GPS deployment road-map and self-assess the site GPS maturity level
- Leading & supporting continuous improvement initiatives to achieve site business priorities
- Deploy the training and capability building plan
- Support / Deliver the required training
- Coach Site teams to develop and sustain continuous improvement mindsets
Job Requirements
Basic qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in a Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing environment
- Bachelor degree in engineering or pharmaceutical
- Has supported and delivered major Projects including change programs
- Demonstrated use of the Continuous Improvement/Lean techniques with clear benefits
- Hands on experience in diagnose, problem solving, redesign, & standardization lean tools
- Excellent coaching and communication skills
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Self-motivated, Positive attitude, energetic and enthusiastic
Preferred qualifications:
- Lead or participated in digitalization projects heading toward Industry 4.0
- Lean Six Sigma black/green belt certified
- Project Management experience
