Within Dell Managed Services, we are looking for Service Delivery Engineers across all levels to join our remote technical team in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

The Managed Services team provide high quality service to support our core products. Working with a number of different platforms, your role would be to ensure that the day to day operations and Service Level Agreements are met. Working with highly skilled technical advisors, you will:

  • Manage and support the customer’s storage environment (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
  • Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Dell EMC and customer's change management policies.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to the customer for improving storage operations.
  • Implement delivery management process improvements.
  • Participate in on-call activities.
Job Requirements

Essential requirements

  • University education, preferably technical degree.
  • Fluency in German (both written and verbal) is strongly preferred, however relevant technical experience will also be reviewed.
  • Operational knowledge of Block and/or File Storage plus relevant experience with related Dell EMC/3rd party technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

Desirable requirements

  • VMware products (especially vRO, vRA and vROPS)
  • Windows & Linux operating systems
  • Active Directory / LDAP / RBAC
  • Scripting & Programming knowledge an advantage
  • ITIL Certification
