Job Description
Role synopsis
- Prepare and analyse business case for investments including Financial Memorandums drafting and sound economic analysis
- Handle Planning and Budgeting process to support the delivery of Segment Planning Agenda
Key accountabilities
- Support business decisions / option generation by providing high quality economic analysis for gas assets in West Nile Delta area
- Investment Governance support through required Financial Memorandum drafting
- Ensure relevant asset economic & financial models comply with BP guidelines
- Ensure BP’s rights and obligations are being protected through implementing agreements with various stakeholders (Partners, Government etc.
- Support the West Nile Delta Planning & Commercial team in driving value-based investment decisions in the development plan, integrating across functions to support plan creation and delivery
- Handle planning and budgeting process for West Nile Delta area
- Provide support to external reporting requirements and quarter close activities (i.e. Reserves reporting, Goodwill, Impairments etc.)
Job Requirements
Essential Education
- BA Finance/Economics/ Business or BSc Engineering
Essential experience and job requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience preferably Finance Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to create insights from data analysis and challenge the status quo
- Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing, networking and relationship building, and proven ability to influence key stakeholders
