Job Description
- Review the treasury transactions existing in the daily treasury register.
- Assure the accuracy of the pricing for the exported shipments.
- Assure the compatibility in between the inventory receipts and vendors invoices/ claims.
- Review and approve all the calculation and entries for all whole AP transactions and entries
- Review and approve all the calculation and entries for all whole AR transactions and entries.
- Controlling the AP and AR balances.
- Review and approve the VAT and WH taxes decelerations and entries.
- Review and approve all the affiliate accounts and entries.
- Review and maintain the company trail balance.
- Review and approve the capital expenditures transactions and entries (fixed assets, PUC, prepayments….etc.).
- Review and maintain the assets register.
- Review and approve the calculation and entries for the depreciation and amortization transactions.
- Lead the balance confirmation process with external parties and associates.
- Assure the regular bookkeeping.
- Review and assure the cost center distribution
- Post and assure the accuracy of the accruals for the governmental authorities.
- Provide accurate and on time financial statements and reports.
- Deal with the external auditors and reply on their inquiries.
- Assure the application of the company policy and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years as an Accounting supervisor/Chief accountant
- ERP knowledge will be an asset
- Experienced in trade and retail industry
- Education: Bachelor Degree of commerce
- Good command of English language
