Job Description

  • Oversee the overall financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance against established targets.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting process and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and achieve organizational goals.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by senior management.
     

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Experience in the construction and real estate industries is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
