Job Description
- Oversee the overall financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance against established targets.
- Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting process and financial planning activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and achieve organizational goals.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Experience in the construction and real estate industries is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
