The role of our Non-Invasive Technicians is to:
- Prepare patients for Echo, TTE, TEE and DBS, explaining the procedure
- Enter patient data in to the machines
- Prepare tapes to be used in recording patients
- Perform the preliminary scanning of patients
- Transfer studies to network 6 and prepare studies for review
- Assist doctors while scanning
- Assist the patient while performing stress
- Archiving patient data
- Presentations
Job Requirements
Education and experience requirements are as follows:
- 2-year diploma in nursing, allied health, physiology, or any clinical discipline
- Eligible for RDCS, CCI or CARDUP certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ non- invasive experience if applying from abroad
- Computer skills are essential
- Excellent English skills are essential
