Job Description
- Provide first line sales services to clients.
- Cooperate/coordinate with sales support staff on matters of building and vetting Offers/Bids.
- Help in researching and developing new products & solutions.
- Maintain and develop business relationships with clients through constant and high visibility.
- Scout, identify and pro actively promote new business opportunities with new clients.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Survey client sites to determine (prior or during) preparation of offer, and confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Keep abreast with current and up-to-date technologies and services in related field.
- Follow-up and coordinate contract status, with customer and sales support during implementation, commissioning and handover.
- Act as focal point in the resolution of client current problems, and proactively mitigate potential concerns (technical, financial, procedural, etc.) and help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- When required, represent company at tender negotiation/bidding sessions.
- Identify new business opportunities by proactively leveraging our network in the utility business.
- Utilize all prospecting tools including professional organizations, industry events, social media, press.
- Develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and e-mails, to maintain contact with the customer.
- Negotiate the terms and conditions on agreement and closing sales to seek the best solution.
- Gather market information to be analyzed trying to find new market channels.
- Act as a consultant between the company and customer to negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Act positively to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- +3 Experience as Sales
- A solid technical background in steel is a MUST
- Strong personal oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Ability to frequently travel outside Cairo
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Achieving the committed sales targets for the territory.
