Job Description
Quality Engineers are responsible for identifying quality related concerns from Market Quality data and parts review. They are expected to perform quality root cause problem analysis and then confirm countermeasure development to prevent unnecessary costs and lack of product quality which can lead to declining market share.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Meet prescribed deadlines & targets to support business Team
- Perform complex tasks, plans and negotiates future direction.
- Recreate problem failures (on vehicle or bench testing).
- Analyze warranty parts to determine failure mode.
- Write and present technical reports.
- Work with AH to develop field repair techniques.
- Perform joint analysis of problems w/supp. & other Departments.
