Job Description
- Senior. Quality Engineer is directly responsible for the customer satisfaction through the quality of releases and projects deliverables based on the understanding of customer business domain.
- Actively participates in reviewing the technical documents (requirements, analysis, design, etc…).
- Also provides staff assistance and regular feedback on projects and the testing processes to management.
- Understands and follows the testing process defined within the organization.
- Ensures the conformance to the processes within the project.
- Creates and documents test cases.
- Identifies each test case priority.
- Creates UAT Document.
- Reviews and updates/creates test cases documents created by juniors.
- Contributes in estimate meetings.
- Performs functional/non functional testing whether in house or onsite.
- Participates in deployment preparation and testing.
- Conducts user acceptance test on customer site.
- Logs the bugs to the bug tracking system.
- Follows up on issues and bugs to improve the quality of the customer deliverables.
- Analyzes and tracking bug counts, closure rate, and rejection rate.
- Ensures closing the fixed issues and bugs on the “Bug tracking system”.
- Reviews issues reported by juniors.
- Participate in closing the NCs defined within the testing activities.
Job Requirements
- From 3 to 4 years of Experience.
- Computer Science Graduated.
- ISTQB foundation level certified is a must.
- Nonfunctional testing is a plus.
