Receive technical data and assets; determine the best way to interpret the data visually, whether it be graphs, charts, maps, etc.
Master Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AE, and Adobe Edge Animate, to create and implement graphics animations and motion Graphics projects suitable for digital and print platforms.
Ensure all graphics include the relevant data points for comparison, make sense, and include the key source information where applicable.
Accurately Implement designs, assets and colours according to CNNBAr Brand Guidelines.
Create and animate templates for charts, graphs, maps, for repeated use.
Ability to source graphic assets and creatively implementing within the guidelines.
Uphold and respect the social, cultural, and moral standards of life in the UAE, as well as CNN’s editorial standards and best practices. Avoid circumstances in which the brand could be brought into disrepute and respect the custodianship of IMI.

At least 2 years in the same role or in a professional design situation within a large organization with public outreach.
Hands on experience with designing science-related topics, creating info graphics (maps, charts, diagrams) and visualizing data.
Proven ability to create vector illustrations, data-driven illustrations and icons, flow charts and templates.
