Job Description

  1. Contribute to the setting of the yearly marketing strategic plan with higher management based on marketing needs to set goals that are in alignment with Duravit’s objectives.
  2. Contribute to setting the yearly Marketing budget with higher management.
  3. Formulate new marketing practices and procedures to develop the department’s capacity and improve its performance.
  4. Participate in the choosing/planning of new product launches and monitor the launch to guarantee their success. 
  5. Regularly track and consult marketing forecast trends when setting new objectives as well as when assessing the relevance of existing objectives. 
  6. Report to Duravit headquarters regarding yearly performance with budgetary targets. 
  7. Run regular market research to evaluate market share and understand where Duravit stands regarding its competitors. 
  8. Review and track any customer service issues and personally ensure their resolution when needed to maintain the brand image with customers. 
  9. Direct/oversee the hiring, development, and evaluation of employees in the department to manage and improve existing manpower resources. 

Set Key performance indicators (KPIs) for all departments to manage and assess the department’s performance and guarantee the adherence to the organizational objectives

Job Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration or any relevant studies is required

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus

10-15 years of experience in the same field is a must

Acrylic and Sanitary products knowledge — Knowledge of specifications, features, prices and raw materials of the acrylic and sanitary products produced/sold by Duravit.

Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources. 

Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes meeting quality standards for services.

English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Psychology — Knowledge of human behaviour and performance; individual differences in personality and interests and motivation; psychological research methods.

Industry Trends — Knowledge of the competitors/key players, the industry and their product offerings.

Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.

Persuasion — Persuading others to change their minds or behaviour.

Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

Management of Personnel Resources — Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.

Systems Analysis — Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.

Systems Evaluation — Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.

Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

Research — Being able to research for, locate, extract, organize, evaluate and present information that is relevant to a specific topic.

Operations Analysis — Analysing needs and product requirements to design a strategy.

Analytical Thinking — The ability to evaluate information by breaking it down to smaller components in order to come to a solution.
