Job Description
- Create marketing copies to advertise NU portfolio.
- Edit, review and proofread all content created from website editors.
- Daily adds news and events on the website.
- Edit, proofread and approve written pieces before publication, that includes social media, newsletters and printing materials from the marketing department.
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams for marketing tasks.
- Update the NU website as needed.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone) on the website.
- Use the provided SEO guidelines to optimize content.
- Communicate with program coordinators and all NU departments for the collection of data needed.
- Write engaging promotional or introductory video scripts when needed.
- Researching industry-related topics and writing articles accordingly.
- Assist in the creative process of coming up with new campaigns’ ideas.
- Create and update content guidelines for website editors.
- Train and guide editors on CMS for adding content on the website.
- Be responsible for the localization, translation, and creation of the English version of the NU Website into Arabic.
- Create the sitemap needed for NU Website's Arabic version.
- Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise different products (brochures, profile, banners, scripts, etc.).
- Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
- Write and proofread content on social networks.
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Measure web traffic to content (e.g., conversion and bounce rates).
- Knowledge of using CMS for websites.
- Translate English content pieces into Arabic.
