Job Description
- Identify equipment and assets that require maintenance and ensure full documentation of their specifications and their criticality to operations.
- Plan requirements of spare parts and consumables, manage and control spare parts inventory.
- Develop and implements a preventive maintenance plan for each equipment or asset to minimize unplanned equipment failures.
- Determine the appropriate maintenance tasks, frequencies, and inspection intervals based on equipment manufacturer recommendations, industry best practices, and equipment performance data.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions and optimize equipment availability.
- Ensures that the necessary resources, such as spare parts, tools, and equipment, are available for maintenance activities.
- Monitor the execution of maintenance activities, track progress, ensure adherence to maintenance schedule and safety protocols and handles any unforeseen issues or changes in plans.
- Analyze maintenance data, such as equipment performance metrics, failure rates, and downtime records, then use this information to identify trends, develop preventive maintenance strategies, and continuously optimize the maintenance downtime.
- Document and report maintenance activities, work orders, equipment histories and maintenance procedures.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance, including metrics like equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Seek opportunities to improve maintenance processes and optimize asset performance.
Participate in root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives to identify and address the underlying causes of equipment failures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3:5 years of experience in the same position
- Excellent in Microsoft Office & Project
