Project Description
3D scanning techniques i.e. laser scanning and photogrammetry are used to scan some archaeological sites. The scanned sites are embedded into developed Virtual Reality (VR) interactive environment using Unity3d game engine.
Scope of Work
- Scanning using 3D laser scanner including field work training in some archaeological sites (In Luxor & Alexandria).
- Photogrammetry techniques and usage.
- Post-Processing of scanned data.
- Optimization for VR applications.
- Loading Unity3d models and projects online.
- Development for VR and AR devices.

Internship Requirements
- Pursuing an engineering degree at Ain Shams University

Good Programming skills.

Willing to travel to different cities in Egypt and work in field.

Prior experience in any of 3D applications (3D Max, Maya, Blender, etc.) is preferable.

Experience with cameras and photography is a plus.
