Biology (Microbiology) Specialist Intern

Intro

• You will be working on something you have probably never done before: .
• We are leading the development of the new insect protein industry. We take organic byproducts or waste as feed stock and convert that into high-value protein using the Black Soldier Fly. We are building up our technology to produce high standard feed, improving the health of animals and humans alike while preserving the planet.
• The internship will last for 3 months ( May to August) with a financial reward at the end of the internship period.

Job Description

The accepted candidate will be working with the management team on:

• Designing and implementing rigorous experiments to test new methods or ingredients.
• Writing detailed reports on your experiments in English.
• Coordinating with production personnel to implement the results of findings.
• Working extensively on reviewing the literature and documenting the review output.
• Keeping up to date with international research on relevant topics and sharing key findings with colleagues.
• Collecting and analyzing data using Bio-statistics.
• Working with the R&D team on implementing research outputs into the production pipeline.
• Providing production documentation and operating instructions for best outputs.
