Job Description
- Create and publish job ads in various portals.
- Conducting phone calls or meetings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
- Interviewing candidates on the shortlist and maintaining a database on employees for future vacancies.
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees.
- Using web-based technology and social media to analyze hiring trends, post job vacancies, and following up with candidates during the hiring process.
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior, and executive)
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
- Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans.
- Formulating detailed job descriptions and posting them.
- Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
- Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
- payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
- Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
- Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars.
- Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator or similar role.
- Proven experience in the hiring of different Engineering jobs, experience in contracting companies is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with the job posting sites and media.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, GitHub, and Stack Overflow
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Team spirit
- BSc in relevant field of study.
- V Good in the English language.
