Job Description

  • Create and publish job ads in various portals.
  • Conducting phone calls or meetings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
  • Interviewing candidates on the shortlist and maintaining a database on employees for future vacancies.
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees.
  • Using web-based technology and social media to analyze hiring trends, post job vacancies, and following up with candidates during the hiring process.
  • Screen resumes and job applications.
  • Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior, and executive)
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans.
  • Formulating detailed job descriptions and posting them.
  • Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
  •  payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
  •  Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
  •  Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information.
  •  Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars.
  •  Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator or similar role.
  • Proven experience in the hiring of different Engineering jobs, experience in contracting companies is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with the job posting sites and media.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, GitHub, and Stack Overflow
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Team spirit
  • BSc in relevant field of study.
  • V Good in the English language.
